This is the Chief Inspector with Eversoll Detective Agency. He is rather a big Holmes fan and is, in fact, channeling that character above. The hat is of a Goodwill heritage but the pants are brand new. He has no clue what sort of a tie that is -- inspection of the PBS Holmes revealed this black thing about the collar. Best he could do, case closed.

Not only did this woman mix pattern to perfection, she mixed vintage and modern, and managed to keep the vining stylized-organic thing going, down to the goddess-of-green sandals. Fresh and fabulous.

I forgot to give credit where credit is definitely due. My vintage silk frock is from Go Vintage on Selby in St. Paul and the pearl necklace and satin clutch are from My Sister's Closet on Grand Ave. in St. Paul. The dress has a detachable sash/train which I'm not sure you can detect. The whole ensemble was well received.
