These are some kicking boots, Minnesota-style, and they aren't even covered with salt yet. I accosted this woman in the baking goods aisle of Cub where she was running in for some chopped nuts. She also had on a black quilted North Face jacket on and a skatery cap. Loved the way she rolled her beat up jeans for maximum boot impact. Style in the aisle. It happens.

Thursday, February 26, 2009 for cheap body con dresses and for tarty shoes. And I'm spent. You will be too is you visit these outrageously economical and exhaustive sites. Do it. Sham wow. That's an inside joke, which I normally despise but there you go. Sham wow is a shammie car-cleaning product that is hucked out of New Jersey in the most annoying manner possible.

Hands down, the coolest, most Pucci-esque coat ever by Junko Shimada. She's Japanese, based in Paris. Her spring 2007 collection was sublime, but sadly, she seems to be taking inspiration from Barnum and Bailey of late. I can't capture hte 2007 collection images but go to the website and be witched.

Lack of information, also known as mystery, is intriguing. That's why I'm drawn to Maison Martin Margiela. Reclusive, artsy fartsy, makes annoying popups come up on his website (try it for yourself... ) that say This Is Not a Popup. Ugh. But for the three reasons shown here, I'm willing to put up with a lot of temperamentalism. Artists, they're so ...haunted. Right? Apparently MM is very popular with models and uber insiders. What's your take?

Phoenix fab! See? I didn't fritter away all five days in warm and perfumed Phoenix in sweaty running shorts. That is because no one sweats in Phoenix. Too dry. But seriously folks, I found this styling savant in her backyard. That's my niece, Kaelyn -- smart, sassy and willing to go with me to get culture. Her fave shop spots are Forever 21 and American Eagle. A true desert flower, she has an encyclopedic selection of dresses, tees, flip flops and shades. Thanks for the use of your ride, Kaelyn.
